Maker Space - Art Show - Tool Design

This world map shows each country in the same scale, meaning without the huge deformations as seen on the Mercator projection.
The center point is the south pole, around which all countries are approximated according to their longitude as much as possible.
The ambient lights are made with laser cutter. Treated kiwi leaves are used as shades.
